Dr. Christy B. Williamson DCN, CNS, MS, LDN

Dr. Chrissie Williamson's Nutritional Genomics Institute (NGI) and its innovative OmicsDx Genome Panels are revolutionizing the way we approach medicine and nutrition, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Through groundbreaking research and personalized genomic analysis, NGI is changing lives by empowering patients to understand how their unique genetics, biochemistry, mindset, and risks affect their health. With a focus on sustainable, personalized lifestyle changes, NGI is at the forefront of emerging technology and medicine, helping patients take control of their health destiny. Dr. Chrissie, a nationally recognized Certified Nutritional Specialist (CNS) and Licensed Dietician/Nutritionist in Maryland, earned her DCN (summa cum laude) from MUIH and her master's degree (summa cum laude) in human nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. She and her family reside in Richmond, Virginia.

Michelle Gottfried CNS, MS

As a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), Michelle creates personalized nutrition plans for a wide variety of conditions. She is an expert at incorporating labwork, medical history, and nutritional genomics to approach her clients unique individual needs. She feels this is the missing link between poor food or lifestyle choices and a truly personalized diet and lifestyle plan for optimal health. As a former marathon athlete, she has core speciality in sports nutrition and performance and enjoys helping athletes discover new ways to beat competition. Overall, she encourages her clients to understand their potential and "why they are the way they are," to then become the best version of themselves. Michelle is a former accountant and excels at data collection and aggregation making her an excellent leader in the omics and technology space.

Dr. Rachel Taylor, MD
Medical Director at GenMedx
At GenMedx we are excited to announce that Dr. Rachel Reinhart Taylor, MD will serve as our Medical Director. She completed medical school at the University of Utah and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a former Emergency Room Physician, now Primary Care Physician, she additionally has a background in cytogenetic karyotyping and completed her bachelor’s degree with honors in microbiology. She successfully teaches elite athletes the Science of Intuition for performance. She is extremely interested in the science of alternative medicine and is the author of Medication Detox: How to Live Your Best Health, Simplified. She currently works writing articles about the science of alternative healing for a worldwide database. She currently lives abroad in Central America but loves exploring locations worldwide. Dr. Taylor brings decades of experience to the GenMedx and NGI family and we are excited to introduce her to our patients. Dr. Taylor is available for primary care telemedicine appointments in California, Virginia and Maryland.

As an experienced functional nutritionist living in Switzerland, Lisa helps manage NGI's European presence. She helps clients break free of low energy, chronic pain, and other long-term health issues so they can return to vibrant health and enjoy the freedom it provides. Lisa's approach is unique and science-based, integrating the disciplines of clinical nutrition, integrative and functional testing, and genomics to uncover the root causes and systemic imbalances within her clients health. With coaching she provides the support they need to implement on her personalized programs.

Doctor without Borders
Matthew Montee continues to be a trusted and valued member of the NGI team and is now on the medical team at GenMedx. Matt is a licensed Physician’s Assistant in California, Idaho and Hawaii and is also a Doctor without Borders. Matt is a Certified Function Medicine Practitioner with a background in Orthopedics/Sports Medicine. He received his formal medical training at Cornell University and is now a modern medicine man offering consultations with a holistic approach to recovery. His treatments consist of IV infusions, peptides, ozone, prolozone, and other Intelligent Medicines customized for everyone from the professional athlete to those looking to amplify their wellbeing and immune systems.

Robyn Witt

Robyn brings to our practice over 20 years of experience in the customer service field. She enjoys learning new ways to put her organizational skills to work to create smoother processes for a better workflow. Robyn has an eye for detail and is a natural problem solver; she utilizes these skills to ensure that patients have the best care possible. She enjoys working with a team and believes that everyone brings something special to the table, bringing balance and creative energy to the workplace.
