Dr. Chrissie, a nationally recognized Certified Nutritional Specialist (CNS) and Licensed Dietician/Nutritionist earned her Doctor of Clinical Nutrition (summa cum laude) from MUIH and her master's degree (summa cum laude) in human nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. Based in Richmond, Virginia, she envisioned integrating a multi-state primary care physician's office with genomic, phenomic, and functional medicine specialists, seamlessly blending with laboratory data and appointments, and brought this vision to life at GenMedx.
GenMedx's medical care team, under the leadership of Dr. Chrissie, offers expertise in functional medicine and primary care, extending NGI's capabilities to address your comprehensive health needs. Dr. Chrissie collaborates with the medical care providers at GenMedx to ensure the ultimate patient experience.

As an experienced functional nutritionist living in Switzerland, Lisa helps manage NGI's European presence. She helps clients break free of low energy, chronic pain, and other long-term health issues so they can return to vibrant health and enjoy the freedom it provides. Lisa's approach is unique and science-based, integrating the disciplines of clinical nutrition, integrative and functional testing, and genomics to uncover the root causes and systemic imbalances within her clients health. With coaching she provides the support they need to implement on her personalized programs.

Doctor without Borders
Matthew Montee continues to be a trusted and valued member of the NGI team and is now on the medical team at GenMedx. Matt is a licensed Physician’s Assistant in California, Idaho and Hawaii and is also a Doctor without Borders. Matt is a Certified Function Medicine Practitioner with a background in Orthopedics/Sports Medicine. He received his formal medical training at Cornell University and is now a modern medicine man offering consultations with a holistic approach to recovery. His treatments consist of IV infusions, peptides, ozone, prolozone, and other Intelligent Medicines customized for everyone from the professional athlete to those looking to amplify their wellbeing and immune systems.

Robyn brings to our practice over 20 years of experience in the customer service field. She enjoys learning new ways to put her organizational skills to work to create smoother processes for a better workflow. Robyn has an eye for detail and is a natural problem solver; she utilizes these skills to ensure that patients have the best care possible. She enjoys working with a team and believes that everyone brings something special to the table, bringing balance and creative energy to the workplace.

Michelle Gottfried CNS, MS, LDN

As a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), Michelle creates personalized nutrition plans for a wide variety of conditions. She is an expert at incorporating labwork, medical history, and nutritional genomics to approach her clients unique individual needs. She feels this is the missing link between poor food or lifestyle choices and a truly personalized diet and lifestyle plan for optimal health. As a former marathon athlete, she has core speciality in sports nutrition and performance and enjoys helping athletes discover new ways to beat competition. Overall, she encourages her clients to understand their potential and "why they are the way they are," to then become the best version of themselves. Michelle is a former accountant and excels at data collection and aggregation making her an excellent leader in the omics and technology space.
Jennifer Roelands MD

Jennifer Roelands, MD is double boarded in integrative medicine and OB/GYN. She completed her residency at Duke University and her integrative training through Andrew Weil Integrative Medicine Center.
She is the founder and SHEO of Precision Health MD, which provides comprehensive health care by combining the best evidence-based therapies from conventional, naturopathic, and holistic medicine. Her areas of expertise include women's health, including PCOS and menopause, gut health, and longevity medicine, focusing on metabolic health. She employs various therapeutic modalities such as nutrition, lifestyle modification, nutrient IV therapy, botanical medicine, and hormone replacement therapy.
Michael Velez MD, MTM

Dr. Michael Velez is the newest member of GenMedx’s Medical Care Team. He trained at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Beyond patient care, Dr. Velez has experience as a ‘doctorpreneur’, health technology executive, and innovation consultant. He received his Master’s of Translational Medicine jointly from UC Berkeley and UCSF, where he helped patent and develop new medical technology including a novel vacuum-force laparoscopic grasper designed to reduce tissue injury. He mentors startup founders for the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator program, consults for various health tech companies, and also serves as an advanced practice provider (APP) physician advisor and collaborator. Fueled by his experience and expertise in patient care, human-centered product design and medical technology innovation, Dr. Velez constantly endeavors to improve the outdated and inefficient sick-care model of medicine and practice precision healthcare to better serve patients and make being healthy easier.
